The IOF Event Adviser Wolfgang Pötsch visited the area on 30. 12. 2010.
He checked facilities, maps, tracks and courses proposals and visited mass start and sprint area. According to his evaluation all preparation works are going well. After one week warm period we need bit more snow in sprint and medium distance area, mass start medium distance conditions are fully OK. The organisers still wait for entries from SUI and nominal entry from ITA.

We have about 1m snow in St. Johann in Tirol.
The TDs Wolf Eberle and Hansruedi Häny together with the head of competition Georg Hechl visited the venue of the coming events. Possible tracks were tested in Hinterkaiser.
They are very enthusiastic about the present situation of the venue.
